Family Flow
This growing family of soon-to-be-six was looking to upgrade their spacious Haw Creek home in time for their newest addition, needing all-over updates and layout improvements better suited for four children. The Hands of Sean Perry worked with the owners to complete the project in a continuous operation — and, with some savvy scheduling and staggered phasing, the family was able to live in the house throughout construction.
The fully reimagined kitchen came to life with new cabinetry from Benbow and Associates, beautiful surfaces by Viktor’s Granite and Marble, and smart pantry storage custom designed by The Hands of Sean Perry to maximize space both beside and behind the refrigerator. All five bathrooms were renovated with fresh finishes — including fun, kid-friendly tile and mirror selections.
The main level now flows seamlessly, from a new front entry, porch and stairs to a mudroom and “landing zones” with extra storage and a smoother path for getting four kids out the door. For the adults in the home, the team added a new coffee bar and screened porch to extend daily living into the fresh air. After construction was complete, the couple welcomed their fourth child to the world — and to their newly refreshed home.
