North Asheville
Asheville History Restored
This beautifully restored log cabin, thought to have been built about 1900, is a well-known historic structure in the Beaverdam Valley community of North Asheville. Nearby was Charles Webb’s popular orchard to which people came from miles around for the seven varieties of apples he grew there. Jake Moran completed the initial restoration of the logs and chinking. In a subsequent project, the Hands of Sean Perry Co. completed additional replacement of rotten and damaged wood throughout the cabin to restore this gem to its rightful glory.
