Sean grew up in a family carpentry business, working summers for his father and grandfather through his college years. After graduating from college, Sean spent a few years in a social work position, but found that he was being called back to his roots, missing the fulfillment of finishing a tangible product. That longing led him back to the construction business, first as a laborer and then working his way up to lead carpenter with The Hands of Sean Perry Co. Sean took the position of project manager with the company in 2007.

He loves the process of going from a blueprint to a finished project and every step along the way. He also remembers the early years of the company and is proud of how it has grown into a business that is organized to ensure that each project flows smoothly. He likes that the company specializes in remodeling and additions rather than new construction, which allows the “Hands” to enhance existing structures rather than using up more green space.

When Sean isn’t building, he’s hiking, camping, rafting, playing disc golf, attending concerts, or simply enjoying time with his family.
