Andy Crespo

Andy knew when he was a kid that he wanted to build things out of wood. His grandfather’s old hand saw helped him create his first bird houses, storage boxes, and shelves. He still has the storage box he built at the age of 13 with his first electric saw and drill. His hobby became gainful employment when he secured his first job as a carpenter’s helper in Seattle. By 1998, he had designed and built his own home in Oregon. After moving to Asheville, Andy began his work with The Hands of Sean Perry Co., fulfilling his creative inclinations through design, photography and carpentry.

Andy loves the creativity of design – merging form and function – and the challenges that each project brings. Andy likes the way the “Hands” do business, making sure each project is done right and making it right if it isn’t. He believes that the approach of thorough communication with the customer before and during the project and a commitment to follow-through is what makes the company exceptional.

His 12 year old daughter, Savannah, is the light of Andy’s life. A single dad, he enjoys spending as much of his leisure time as possible with her – going to the theater, listening to music, and just having a lot of good laughs together. He recently took his dream vacation to the north end of Vancouver Island, where he and Savannah watched the orcas and eagles and delighted in the unique contributions they bring to our world. Andy’s also passionate about photography, video production, spending time outdoors and personal growth.
