The Asheville Area Chamber of Commerce Small Business Award

On October 28, 2010, our company was presented the November Small Business of the Month Award by The Asheville Area Chamber of Commerce.Criteria for this award includes a solid business background, a successful record of employee and sales growth, and a strong commitment to public service.

"The Small Business of the Month award is a great way to recognize the important role of small business in this community," says Carol Hensley, assistant vice president of Small Business & Entrepreneurship at the Chamber. "According to the U.S. Small Business Administration, small businesses, nationally, represent 99.7 percent of all employer firms, employ half of all private sector employees, and have generated 65 percent of net new jobs over the past 17 years."
